My first symptoms were repeatedly brushed off as a sinus infection by my small town doctor. I trusted him implicitly because he is a diagnostician and everyone in “Mayberry” said he is brilliant. Perhaps by comparison. But, for me, trusting him was nearly a fatal mistake.
